Cell Cycle Chromatin and Development

The group analyses cell cycle regulation and chromatin dynamics in the model plant Arabidopsis thaliana in various contexts.

We investigate how cells gradually exit the cell cycle to enter differentiation during organ development and how chromatin states associated with each cell types are established in dividing and then in differentiating cells.
More precisely, we study the role of SWI/SNF chromatin remodeling complexes in this process. At a smaller scale, we are interested in the molecular mechanisms involved in DNA replication that allow the faithful transmission of the genetic and epigenetic information through cell divisions.
